About Open Book Life

Open Book Life is a trade name of Tucker Marketing Group LLC, an Ohio-licensed insurance agency, license #1625624. We help Ohio residents find final expense life insurance. We serve Ohio residents only. By using this site or booking a call, you agree to these terms.

Texting terms

What we text

• A confirmation right after you book, with a link to change or cancel the call
• If you booked for a parent, a note on how they can join the call
• What to have handy for the call
• A reminder the day before and one an hour before your call
• If we miss each other, one text with a link to pick a new time
• Answers when you text us a question

Every text starts with “Open Book Life:”. We don't send marketing campaigns or offers by text. Apart from instant booking confirmations, we send texts between 9 am and 8 pm Eastern time.

How often

Message frequency varies with your booking, usually up to 5 texts per booked call, plus any replies to your questions. If you reschedule, the reminders start again for the new time.

Cost

Open Book Life doesn't charge for texts. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile phone plan.

How to stop texts

Reply STOP to any text. You'll get one final text confirming you're unsubscribed, and then no more texts from us, including reminders that were already scheduled. You can also email us to opt out. If you want texts again later, book a new call and check the consent box, or reply START.

Reply HELP to any text or email hello@openbooklife.com.

Who can sign up

You must be 18 or older and the account holder or regular user of the mobile number you give us. We text only the person who booked and agreed to texts. We never text a second person named on the booking.

Delivery

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your privacy

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. See our privacy policy for how we handle your information.

Calls

When you book, you agree that Open Book Life may call the number you give us at the time you booked, or at a time you pick with us on a call, to talk about final expense insurance. If you don't answer, we may try once more a few minutes later and leave one voicemail. We don't place calls you didn't ask for. Agreeing to calls is not a condition of any purchase.

About insurance information on this site

• Information on this site is general. It isn't an offer of insurance, and it doesn't mean you qualify for any policy.
• Coverage, prices and terms are set by the insurance company that issues the policy and depend on its review of your application. Your policy documents are what govern your coverage.
• Booking a call doesn't commit you to buy anything.

Using this site

Please give us accurate information when you book. Don't book calls for someone else without their knowledge, and don't misuse the site or try to break into our systems. The Open Book Life name, logo and site content belong to Tucker Marketing Group LLC.

Limits of liability

We work to keep this site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Tucker Marketing Group LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using this site or from texts that are delayed or not delivered. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ohio insurance law.

Ohio law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here and change the date at the top.
